Privacy
How this site handles data, analytics, and forms. Last updated April 19, 2026.
Overview
Chicago Food Truck Festival®, LLC (“we,” “us”) operates this website to share festival information and to receive inquiries. This page describes what information may be collected when you use the site and how it is used.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-362367596) to understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed and general geography). Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to how Google processes that data.
We also use Plausible Analytics for additional aggregate traffic insight. Plausible is designed to avoid cookies and cross-site tracking; see Plausible’s privacy statement at the link above.
Neither Google nor Plausible page views are sent when you open the site from localhost or other local development hostnames configured in our analytics scripts.
Contact, sponsor, and vendor forms
When you submit a form on this site (including the vendor document portal), your message and any fields you fill in are transmitted to our team through Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service. Do not submit sensitive information you are not comfortable sharing with festival staff for the purpose you selected (general contact, sponsorship inquiry, vendor intake, and so on).
Vendor uploads may include files you attach; those files are delivered to us for operational review. Retention and handling of vendor materials follow our internal processes and any agreements you accept as part of vending.
Vendor site fees (Stripe)
When you use Pay Site Fees & Submit Registration on the vendor document portal, your card payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they handle payment data during checkout. We receive registration details and uploads through our form provider (Web3Forms) separately from Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
Tickets and external sites
Ticket purchases are completed on Eventbrite. Eventbrite’s privacy policy applies when you are on their site or apps. Links to social networks (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube) are governed by each platform’s policies when you click through.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 to collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our forms, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Retention and access
We keep information from website forms and vendor uploads only as long as needed to respond to you, operate the festival, meet City and licensing workflows, satisfy insurance or legal recordkeeping, and perform under vendor or sponsor agreements. When those purposes end, we delete or archive material according to our internal records practices.
U.S. state privacy requests
We do not sell your personal information for money as that practice is defined in many U.S. state consumer privacy laws. If you are a California or other U.S. resident and want to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information you submitted through this site (subject to exceptions such as completed transactions or legal holds), email alex@chicagofoodtruckfestival.com with enough detail for us to verify and process your request.
Not legal advice
This page summarizes our practices in ordinary language. It is not a substitute for individualized advice from qualified legal counsel about your rights, your business, or your obligations.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
